MANDORLA

The almond is the first fruit tree to blossom in spring. Once the flowers have appeared, they give way to spear-shaped leaves in luminous shades. MANDORLA captures this special moment, when the orchards of almond trees are transformed into the colors of the south of France. Created using textures from fabrics and paintings, this large-scale design suggests intertwining leaves. The textile grain accentuates the many material effects within the shapes. The palette is created using seven printing cylinders, recreating the warm shades of Provence and the softness of neutral tones. Lire la suite
