An early 19th Century design, Bamboo Forest 's verdant foliage is testament to the popularity of the Orientalist style during the Victorian period. Representing resilience and prosperity, bamboo was an exotic interior choice, providing a whimsical juxtaposition to heavy furniture pieces often found within affluent homes. Presented in monochromatic palettes of jewel box greens and rouge, soft pebble greys, the striking Snow on Soot, and a contemporary buttercup and cornflower, Bamboo Forest 's dense grove feels thoroughly contemporary in its unfussy expanse.
