Finite cross-brand colour discovery
Paint Brand Alternatives and Similar Colours
In briefCompare curated source colours with the nearest genuine records held for other decorative paint brands, using the existing perceptual colour engine and realistic sampling guidance.
Finite cross-brand guides
Start with a brand, then compare real records.
These hubs use a small editorial source set and calculate nearest indexed candidates within each target brand. They do not create a separate search page for every paint colour.
Method and limitations
Use the result to narrow a physical-sample shortlist.
The calculation uses the existing Designer Colour Engine and stored digital paint references. It does not compare paint formulation, pigment, metamerism, opacity, sheen, surface texture or spectral measurements from dried samples.
A nearest colour may therefore be useful while the products still behave and appear differently. Compare the actual products in the required finishes and intended room before deciding.

Frequently asked questions
Before you continue
Where should I start?
Begin with the page route closest to your project, save useful product references and bring the shortlist to the showroom if you need help refining it.
Are on-screen colours accurate?
They are digital representations only. Always test a physical paint or wallpaper sample in the intended space before deciding.
Can I confirm availability online?
The site is for discovery and guidance, not live stock control. Contact the Mill Hill showroom for current availability, variants and lead times.
