Grouts are porous and, as a result, they easily absorb grease, dirt and lime scale. Spillages such as wine, lemonades or greasy substances will cause marks and patches in the joints in the floor. Grouts between wall-tiles, particularly in damp areas like bathrooms, will become dirty and unattractive as a result of mould and lime scale. Equally when such areas are being cleaned, the cleaning water (containing dirt originating from the wall or the floor) will gradually be deposited on the joints between the tiles. The grouts will become dirty and difficult to clean. The solution for this problem is: HG super protector for wall and floor grout . Through the use of this product, the grout will become fully resistant to water, oils, grease and dirt. A simple job with extremely satifactory results. A packet is sufficient for approximately 20 m². The grouts should be clean and dry prior to treatment. For this reason, first clean the grouts thoroughly, using HG grout cleaner. After cleaning, rinse all joints well with clean water and allow 24 hours for the area to dry. Sufficient time should be allowed for new grouts to dry and to harden. Joints in the floors of bathrooms and kitchens and, also, intensively used floors (entrances / halls): apply HG super protector for wall and floor grout , using the supplied pipette. Use 1 to 2 ml of liquid per metre of grout (of 0.5 thickness). Grouts between wall-tiles (kitchen / sanitary equipment): apply the HG super protector for wall and floor grout to the grouts, using a small brush, until fully absorbed. Allow to dry for 1 hour. The treatment should be repeated once, so obtaining optimal protection. Excess fluid can be simply removed, using a cloth. After 36 to 48 hours, the treated surface can be cleaned in the normal manner. For floor grouting, the floor can be used after approx. 3 hours. Floors in showers can be used after approximately 8 hours. 250 ml per 30-40 m² of floor area (based on floor tiles measuring 30 x 30 cm, and a grout thickness of 0.5 cm).
