Graining
How to create this effect:
- Apply two coats of Acrylic (water based) Eggshell Basecoat to the surface in one of the four colours and allow to dry fully. (Recommended base coat and top coat combinations are given in product details)
- Brush on Ratcliffes Ready Tinted Oil Scumble Glaze in the wood colour of your choice
- Break up the brush lines using a Flogging Brush
- Wipe the grain out using a lint free cloth over your thumb nail
- Soften using a Badger Brush in the direction of the grain
